    About You

    Our Consumer Publicity team are looking for a passionate, driven Senior Account Manager to join their busy TV team. Applicants should have 5+ years’ experience working in a press/publicity function in the entertainment industry. Experience of unit publicity is highly desirable.

    Within DDA, a Senior Account Manager is an ambitious and proactive member of the team that can manage accounts with limited oversight. They will demonstrate excellent press relationships, borne from working across a number of high-profile projects in their career. A natural communicator, they thrive on collaboration and seek opportunities to share their knowledge with the junior team.

    Your Key Responsibilities Include:

    Client Relationships

    • Develop a close working relationship with our clients in the TV space and add value with expert knowledge

    • Work with the Director of TV and senior partners to trouble-shoot any issues relating to this ongoing work

    • Oversight of day-to-day client management, rectifying issues as they arise

    Delivery

    • Run/direct campaigns in the UK and provide the client with regular updates

    • Oversee timely coverage reporting for our clients with the support of the wider team

    • Maintain standards for reporting, interview requests, asset timelines etc.

    • Oversee the dissemination of new assets to media, utilising the depth of the team

    • Working with the strengths of the team to find the best solution for any given project

    • Attend and coordinate press launches for our series clients

    Strategy and Commercial Awareness

    • Devise and execute strategy for UK Publicity campaigns with an awareness of client objectives and competitive landscape

    • Develop and maintain exceptional relationships with press whilst ensuring maximum visibility for our project

    People

    • Maintain professional manner and demonstration of strong work ethic towards account teams and company as a whole

    • Oversee Account Executives working across your accounts to assist with their progression and output

    • Become invested in growing the experience of members of the team through their work with you

    Skills & Experience

    • Experience with on-set unit publicity capture, press access, photography and EPK

    • Understanding of picture publicity and the ability to come up with creative ideas and be able to work with photographers and designers

    • Exposure to budget management

    • Knowledge of the TV landscape: identify the core audience for a TV series, know how to reach them and excite them, be aware of competitive campaigns and TV trends

    • Client management experience

    • Exceptional relationship building skills and high emotional intelligence

    • Known to a high level of press and industry figures

    • Experience of major TV and/or film festivals (desired, not required)

    • A passion for learning, and getting under the skin of, client businesses to give them the best possible outcomes

    • Confidence speaking to Senior Executives and Talent

    • Highest standard of multi-tasking and organisational skills

    • A team player, willing to share knowledge and discuss approaches and tactics but also able to work independently

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

    Position Overview

    Excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-orientated International Series and Film PR Coverage Assistant to work within a busy PR company operating in the film and entertainment industry. The International PR Assistant will support the department based in both the Los Angeles and UK offices in the compiling of international press coverage and reporting.

    Our ideal candidate will be a PR and communications graduate, with an eye for detail. An eager interest in the field partnered with good research skills is very important to us. If you are well-organized and an excellent communicator, we’d like to meet you!

     

    Responsibilities include

    • Pulling sentiment and coverage from final international reports that the client sends DDA at the end of each week into the respective coverage documents we have for the series and film titles we’re across

    • Pulling any raves into title and client rave sheets

    • Updating an ongoing “Best Of” document

    Position Overview

    Excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented person to work within a busy PR company operating in the film and entertainment industry. The Corporate PR Coordinator/Account Executive will support the efforts of the President and corporate PR team in the Los Angeles office.

    Your work will be instrumental in the development and execution of PR plans and strategies for corporate clients. Our ideal candidate will be a creative PR and communications graduate with at least 2+ years of experience in the industry. An eager interest in the field partnered with great writing, attention to detail, and strong organizational and research skills, as well as resourcefulness and excellent communication are especially important to us.

     

    Position Summary

    We are looking for a confident, highly organized individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

     

    Responsibilities include

    • Support president in determining client expectations and support in developing strategies based on their input and goals.

    • Help in establishing overall positioning across DDA’s corporate clients.

    • Draft press releases ensuring on-point communications, supporting approval processes and servicing to trades and wider outlets.

    • Field inquiries and pursue coverage in the trades and consumer press.

    • Build and maintain close trade and press relationships, ensuring that DDA clients are continually top of mind.

    • Support in response to new client directives and expectations.

    • Anticipate industry changes and develop creative solutions.

    • Assisting with press clippings: monitoring trade publications and key outlets for breaks and report coverage for corporate clients and festival films

    • Assist team as directed in all aspects of client servicing

    • Assisting the President with calendar

    • Develop connections with journalists and media sources

    • Track publicity items in newspapers/trades/etc.; follow and review industry news and trade press daily

    • Track social media content streams and trends

    • Attend and take notes during group brainstorm and new business development meetings

    • Provide research support for new business pitches

  • Weekly Support

    • Assisting with press clippings: monitoring trade publications and key outlets for breaks and report coverage

    • Researching film trends, relevant writers, box office for international – specifically for comp titles for any films we are working on

    • Updating and creating press lists (i.e. podcasts, finance, etc.), using Cision to find new and creative outlets to showcase client

    • Participating in weekly touch bases with the team

    • Taking notes on calls/meetings

    Film Festivals (Pending Season)

    • Overall support leading up to festivals, pulling together festival bibles

    • Compiling and managing media lists for upcoming film festivals

    Film & TV Series Campaigns

    • Assisting with tracking and compiling nominations

    • Helping compile & proofread talent schedules and assisting/logging travel bookings

    • Tracking outstanding and completed interview requests 

    • Learning how to conduct phone/zoom interviews, taking notes and writing brief wrap reports for the client

    • Listening in on virtual interviews & pulling press reactions/sentiment and writing wrap reports for the client

    • Assisting with check in on press days or premieres where appropriate (virtual and in person)

    • Pulling reactions from journalists

    • Compiling and updating coverage report documents and rave sheets

    • Creating and updating screening and junket RSVP lists

    • Contributing to brainstorming and strategy meetings for clients

    • Proofread and help pull together publicity materials such as production notes, generic transcripts, talking points
